Serve Our Community with Us! Love Costa Mesa is a time where people from all over the city of Costa Mesa and the surrounding communities volunteer together to serve our city and participate in creating tangible change. From window washing, to making sack lunches or writing encouraging cards to people in convalescent homes, there are many opportunities to be a part of!
When: May 17th | 8a – 12p

Love Costa Mesa-2025 TC Projects
Window washing at The Crossing Church
Description: Serve our community by washing windows at The Crossing Church
Purpose: We want to bless The Crossing Church by cleaning their windows.
Role: Volunteers will be assigned an area to clean.
Making sack lunches for L.O.T.S.
Description: You will be packing lunches and encouraging notes. After you make the lunches there will be opportunity to hand the lunches to our homeless neighbors.
Purpose: Giving people in need a meal and encougment through basic provision and conversation.
Role: Your roll will be packing the lunch and hand them out to people.
Writing appreciation notes for Teachers and Nurses
Description: Write encouraging notes for teachers and nurses in the community. Great for kiddos!
Purpose: Encourage people in the community who often get under appreciated.
Role: Write notes of encouragement. Card writing and rock painting!
Curb painting at The Crossing Church
Description: Paint curbs on the Crossing Church campus.
Purpose: Help a local church make the campus beautiful and safe.
Role: Paint red curbs.
Car wash at The Crossing Church
Description: The Crossing Church will be hosting a free car wash for the community.
Purpose: Help your community with a practical need that can often cost too much money.
Role: Wash cars and connect with neighbors.
Davis Elementary-Fence cup project
Description: Create a beautiful sign out of cups at David elementary.
Purpose: Make a fence at the school more fun for the students.
Role: Create a sign out of cups.
Playground clean-up at The Crossing Church
Description: Clean the playground; picking up trash, weeding, cleaning the sand box, making the “GAGA” ball pit safe
Purpose: You will be contributing to creating an even nicer play environment.
Role: Clean the playground
