Tune In: A Series on Prayer

Whether you are new to following Jesus or have been talking with him for a long time, learning to tune in to God through prayer is a foundational practice.

Think about an old radio. You turn the dial to find the right frequency so you can hear your favorite station. Prayer is like turning the dial to lock in on God’s frequency so you can hear Him.

Or think about tuning an instrument. You twist the knobs to tighten or loosen the strings and find that perfect pitch. Prayer is like tuning your heart to God’s heart, twisting the knobs and adjusting the strings of your soul and perspective to be more like His.

Prayer is about being with God. That’s the goal. Regular prayer will help you “Tune In” and develop stronger faith, deeper understanding, and a more authentic relationship with God.
